Warn-on-Forecast

Currently there is a forecast information gap between watches and warnings. The Warn-on-Forecast system (WoFS) is providing the information to fill that gap.

A system that runs every half hour producing 3 to 6 hour forecasts, WoFS takes in the most recent observations from weather radar, satellite, and surface data, to provide updated forecasts that can be looked at during that time frame to help forecasters focus in on the corridors where storms could have the biggest impact.
