1700 UTC       Coordination call with Oxnard lead forecaster. There was agreement that the heaviest rain threat over the burn area would be from 2000 UTC to 0300 UTC, with a transition to light rain/snow showers after 0300 UTC. Initial plan is to make another call to Oxnard at about 0200 UTC to discuss when to end the IOP.

1806 UTC       Start of IOP

1806 UTC       Data collection began. Occasional light rain showers at radar site, with wind gusts to 40 mph.

1900 UTC       Full backup to laptop

1930 UTC       Media interview KGET – Spencer Washburn – 661-283-1717

2000 UTC       Full backup to laptop

2028 UTC       Noticed the ÒblackoutÓ sector is no longer working

2035 UTC       Restarted. ÒBlackoutÓ sector still does not work. Will do without it

0230 UTC       Just a few light showers around for the last hour. Conference w/ Oxnard lead forecaster. He expects only a few light showers around the rest of the event with amounts mostly less than ¼Ó and snow levels down to 3000 feet. We agreed the IOP is over. Shutdown will commence shortly.
