Effects of fair weather Clouds on PBL reflectivity (Clouds over Oklahoma)

[Image shows fair weather clouds as seen by satellite over Oklahoma]

Notes:
This is a picture of clouds taken from an orbiting satellite during the time that radar data, presented in the next two slides, was collected. This figure shows a line of clouds oriented NE to SW about 40 km northwest of the Norman Doppler radar. This line of clouds decreased solar radiation and the decrease of solar radiation affected the reflectivity field shown on the next two slides.
