Welcome to my homepage. I am currently a NRC Postdoctoral Research Associate working at NSSL. I am fortunate to be able to work under the advisement of Dr. Harold Brooks I'm currently working on two projects. For the first project, I am evaluating MCS forecasting parameters for the Storm Prediction Center (SPC). One of these parameters was developed by myself in collaboration with SPC and was designed to forecast the areas likely to sustain strong, mature MCSs. For the second project, I am helping David Dowell, Lou Wicker, and others develop a system that uses the Ensemble Kalman Filter (EnKF) technique to assimilate Doppler radar data into storm-scale numerical models

I also have a page devoted to my main body of research as a doctoral student, which deals with derecho-producing convective systems. I'll be expanding this page as time allows, so if you're interested in the material please check back to see the changes.
