Purpose

To provide nowcasting information to various radar intercept groups to help them better coordinate their efforts
when collecting data.  We plan to accomplish this via having an NSSL "nowcaster" to:

• Provide "traditional" nowcasting support

• Inform each radar group where the other groups are and what potential the overlapping data collection opportunities that exist

• Provide communication between groups when the need arises.
