Professor Teng Long received B.Sc. degree in electronic engineering from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, China, in 1989 and the M. Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), Beijing, China, in 1991 and 1995, respectively.

From January 1999 to August 1999, he was a Visiting Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Stanford University, CA. From March 2002 to September 2002, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Electric Engineering, London University, London, England.

Since September 2000, he has been a Full Professor with the Department of Electronic Engineering and the Director of the Institute of Radar Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China. He is now serving as the Dean of the School of Information and Electronics, Beijing Institute of Technology
(http://english.bit.edu.cn/col394/article.htm1?id=5708). He is also the Chairman of the Beijing Society of Radar, Vice-Chairman of the Chinese Society of Signal Processing, and a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Institute of the United Kingdom.

Professor Long’s research interests include embedded real-time digital signal processing, remote sensing signal processing, radar signal processing, and satellite navigation signal processing.
