First Images From Hurricane Lili

Here is a set of images (one reflectivity, one velocity) from Lili. SR-1 was located in SE Lafayette LA at the local airport. The eye is to the SW (already onshore), and the cab blockage is to the north. Quick estimate of the max Doppler velocity is 52 m/s (inbound, due south of the radar, two folds, and halfway to a third). Obviously this is well off of the ground. -- Tim Doggett
