Tabs: Time Series

The default window appears as in Figure 27 (at right). The tab allows a user to click on the image, enter a point (lat/lon), or directly select a gauge from the drop down list. Thus, time series of up to five variables are available.

Plot duration: Time series can be done for 2, 6, 12, 24, and 48 hours.

The following is an example of the procedure to hone in on a point of interest:

  1. See scattergrams under Gauge tab to get a gauge data table.
  2. Get latitude/longitude from gauge table (Figure 28, at right).
  3. Enter latitude/longitude into boxes under Select Point.

OR

  1. Select the gauge ID from the drop down window and click the "Submit Gauge" button. The gauge ID can be retrieved from either the gauge analysis tools/scatterplot table or gauge circle map/analysis tools/select gauge ID overlay. The lat/lon of the gauge will appear in the "Select Point" area. Note that data from the Oklahoma Mesonet from the Oklahoma Climatological Survey (OCS) are available at the end of the list in addition to HADS data.

Figure 29 (at right) shows an example of a 24 hour time series of CREF, HSR, Q2RAD_HSR-RATE, SATELLITE_IR, and the HADS-MTN02 gauge.
