According to the IASCLIP prospectus, the main goal of this program is to promote, coordinate, and organize research activities that aim at improving our understanding of climate and hydrological processes in the IntraAmericas Sea (IAS) and improving our ability of representing these processes in global climate models.
This page contains material relevant to the planning of upcoming field observation activities in support of the IASCLIP and other studies of the climate and meteorology of the Inter-American Seas region. The material shown here is taken from many sources, but is intended to supplement the Science and Implementation plan with specific information relevant to designing a field program.
