THE LAKE TITICACA EXPERIMENT DATA

Description

Quality-controlled wind data recorded in the Titicaca Field Experiment are available through this website. The data is organized on 7 files, one per station. The information is in ASCII format and organized in five columns which contain:

Column 1 : Day of January 2003 (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9)
Column 2 : Hour of the day in UTC units (00-23)
Column 3 : Elevation above the surface in m AGL
Column 4 : Zonal component of the wind in m/s
Column 5 : Meridional component of the wind in m/s
