ALTIPLANO DAILY RAINFALL DATA COLLECTED DURING THE SALLJEX

Daily rainfall observations collected during the SALLJEX are available through this site in ASCII format. The information is catalogued in 2 datasets:

A. The entire network (166 sites)
B. The 98-site network classified through quality control procedures.

The information is in milimeters, and was observed at 7:00 am (12UTC) of each labeled day, so it represents the precipitation accumulated starting at 12UTC on the previous day and ending at 12UTC on the current day. Missing observations have been replaced by "-999.9". The period runs from October 1 2002 through May 31 2003 and the columns are organized as follows:

Column 1 : Station code
Column 2 : Name
Column 3 : Latitude in degrees
Column 4 : Longitude in degrees
Column 5 : Altitude in meters ASL
Column 6 : Daily ranifall totals in milimeters starting on October 1 2002.
