Hot Items 2005 NSSL Employees Contribute to Hurricane Relief Efforts
NSSL employees have banded together to provide generous donations to purchase needed food and supplies for local hurricane victims sheltering in Oklahoma.
A donation of $2,000 was made by employees through the NSSL and Storm Prediction Center Employees Association. The money will go to the American Red Cross and Salvation Army, who are both providing support to hurricane victims who have made it to the state.
In addition, employees donated nearly $600 to purchase food and supplies for the Salvation Army to support families coming to the Norman area.
