NSSL scientists present research at Severe Local Storms Conference
Researchers from NOAA's National Severe Storms Laboratory are in San Antonio, Texas, this week, attending the American Meteorological Society's Severe Local Storms Conference. They are presenting results of their research on a variety of topics, including severe weather forecasting, radar applications and numerical modeling.
As many as 20 of the papers being presented during the conference were written in collaboration with the National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center. These projects are the result of the successful co-location of the SPC with NSSL in Norman, Okla.
