NSSL sponsored and designed the cover for the
20th Conference on Severe Local Storms held recently in Orlando, Florida.
Jeff Kimpel opened the conference with a keynote address on "Perspectives
on the Future of Severe Local Storms Research and Operations." NSSL
scientists were lead authors on 22 papers presented, participated in
15 poster displays, and chaired nine sessions. Jeff Trapp was program
chairperson.
