About Us
Posted on September 3, 2009 @ 1:14 pm in

NSSL Briefings Online replaces the printed “NSSL Briefings” newsletter, but the mission remains the same: to regularly inform readers of NSSL’s most recent research and activities. NSSL Briefings Online will also include NSSL’s scientific collaborations with the OU Cooperative Institute for Mesoscale Meteorological Studies (CIMMS).
Our goals are to increase NSSL’s visibility and promote the value of NSSL research. We hope to increase awareness among funding agencies, develop and nurture partnerships in support of the NOAA mission, foster public and constituent loyalty to our mission, and cultivate a passion for severe weather research results in the community.
We will update the site when we have new news to share. Previous months will be archived and can be downloaded in a pdf format. A quarterly email will be sent out announcing the updated site with a listing of the post titles.
